About the Game

Block Blocker is a deliberately frustrating platformer inspired by the infamous Getting Over It. It’s simple to look at but brutally challenging to play, designed to test your patience, reflexes, and determination. The game pays homage to the 70's and 80's arcade and platformer era, blending retro aesthetics with modern design to create a unique and visually pleasing experience.

Glitched Theme: Dungeons & Dragons

The entire game is set within a dungeon, immersing players in a dark, atmospheric world that perfectly aligns with the classic dungeon-crawling experience seen in Dungeons & Dragons. Every level, challenge, and mechanic is designed to capture the essence of adventure, mystery, and danger.

The block is your only tool—and it’s overpowered. It’s not just a character; it’s your key to solving puzzles, navigating tricky terrain, and overcoming increasingly difficult challenges. The cube is versatile, but mastering it is anything but easy.

Edit: Now it has a BlockVenture mode that is soothing and easy to play—without the jump button frustration. This mode features three different levels, each with unique tilemaps and varying difficulties. Plus, the jump button in this mode works perfectly, making it a more relaxed alternative to the main game

P.S.  Currently, development is on hold as the game runs on an older version of Unity. With Unity 6 now available and several new project ideas in the works, I’ve decided to shift focus. Originally planned to have five levels in BlockVenture, the mode now remains at three due to these changes.
